The 7th Continent was already an incredible adventure game that kept pushing the boundaries of its genre. Its younger brother called The 7th Citadel will be a completely separate game, set in a dark fantasy themed city-state called Kel Protectorate

Many gameplay mechanics will come back but the numerous innovations include personal quests for each character, separate action decks for everyone and the titular Citadel where you rest between scenarios, perform dozens of actions and upgrade the colossal structure itself.

The Thing: The Board Game – September 22nd

The THing: The Board Game. Trademarks and visuals belong to their rightful owners.

The Thing: The Board Game, like many of you have probably guessed, is themed after the legendary horror directed by John Carpenter.

4 to 8 players take on the roles of humans and “The Thing” but no one knows who plays which role. The villain tries to infect regular humans without them figuring out who he is.

You also have to take care of eating and staying healthy which will be possible thanks to a variety of rooms available in Outpost 31. Despite initial impressions: The Thing looks like something much, much deeper than regular mafia-style games, and includes its own set of miniatures and a map.

Florence – Q4 2020

Florence. rademarks and visuals belong to their rightful owners.

And finally: something for euro-style game fans. Florence, designed by Dean Morris and Dávid Turczi is coming to Kickstarter this year.

Each player will represent a different powerful family known in Florence while trying to gain status higher than others. Everything takes place during a certain Night Carnival. The game lasts 9 rounds and will have players gossip, brag, fight for areas, give presents to guests and talk with important people. The later it gets, the bigger the crowds get, making it harder to move around the map freely.
