Explore the Jungles of Cambodia in the Latest Opus of the Acclaimed Board Game Series

Triton Noir, the small independent studio behind the popular tabletop game Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice, has announced a new expansion set to take players on a journey to the ancient kingdom of Cambodia. The Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice – Apocalypse will introduce new enemies, equipment, weapons, and armor, as well as new skills for the Assassins.
Story
The expansion will follow the action-packed adventures of the Assassins in the midst of the Cambodian jungle. The player’s main task will be tracking down a renegade Assassin through a dozen Memories full of surprises and twists. The game will feature new gameplay mechanics, such as Danger tokens that reveal hostile animals like cobras and crocodiles, and new types of hideouts, including trees and tall grass.

Players will also be able to explore the Cambodian jungle and visit dozens of points of interest, including encounters with local characters, exploration of ruins and mysteries, and forges to craft objects according to blueprints found throughout the game. Each of these places will permanently change the rest of the campaign by adding new equipment, events, weapons, enemy reinforcements, and other surprises.
Features
The expansion is set to be compatible with both the collector’s edition (black box) and the retail edition (white box) of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice. Fans of the game can register on the Kickstarter website to be notified when the campaign launches.

Triton Noir founder David Preti expressed excitement about the new expansion, stating that the studio has worked hard to create a brand new environment that has never been explored by the Assassin’s Creed license. The master Assassin Shao Jun will replace Ezio, who is now too old for such an adventure. She will be controlled collectively by the players and also will bring unique abilities to the game.

The announcement of the new expansion is a significant event for Triton Noir, which has only launched three Kickstarter campaigns since its founding in 2014. Stay tuned and get notified when the campaign starts here.
