The campaign has already surpassed its initial goal of $10,000 and raised over $31,000. Dungeon Murder is a unique and original card game that features a large deck of cards. The objective of the game is to be the first player to hold three complete sets of Dungeon Chamber cards.
Inspired by “collect and trade” style games, Dungeon Murder is a fast-paced game that lasts around 15 minutes per round. It’s easy to learn but requires strategic thinking to win, making it a fun and enjoyable game for both casual and experienced players. The game also features humorous illustrations that add to the overall entertainment value.
How to play
To play Dungeon Murder, gather 2 to 5 friends, distribute a quick reference rule card to each player, shuffle the cards, and deal five cards face down to each player. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center as the draw pile. Each turn, players can play up to three cards from their hand, charging each other for dungeon rent and building up their personal Gold Vault. Players can put Action cards into their Vault as gold or play them to the center and follow the instructions. Dungeon cards can also be played to build sets of Dungeon Chambers.
To win the game, a player must have three complete sets of different color Dungeon Chambers. Players can trade Dungeon cards with each other and offer gold in exchange for Dungeon cards, but only if the other player agrees.
The Kickstarter campaign for Dungeon Murder will continue until May 18, 2023. Backers who pledge support can receive various rewards, including the game itself, and limited edition cards. With its original concept and fast-paced gameplay, Dungeon Murder is sure to be a hit among board game enthusiasts.
