Warp Core Games Launches a New Galactic Corporation Building Game
Warp Core Games recently launched Star Tycoon, a new game on Kickstarter challenging players to build their own Galactic Corporation. This strategy game is designed to be played by 1 to 6 players. It requires players to expand their interstellar company while managing a central market that reacts to supply and demand.
Star Tycoon will test players’ abilities to claim planets, build production facilities, and play the market to succeed. The game integrates various mechanics such as set collection, bartering and trading, engine building, resource management, and supply and demand.
Finally, to be effective, players must closely monitor the central market, which primarily drives the game’s economy. While Star Tycoon offers a solo mode for players who prefer to play alone, it can also accommodate up to six players, with each game lasting approximately 20 minutes per player.
