New Kickstarter Campaign Offers Tabletop RPG Game Masters a Fun and Easy Tool for Generating Randomized Treasures and Critical Hits
Crafting an exciting and unique adventure for tabletop RPG players can be a challenging task for game masters (GMs). To help ease the burden, Giochix, a popular Italian board game company, has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for custom dice sets designed to generate treasures and critical hits during RPG sessions.
New vision
The Treasure & Critical Dice sets consist of six large 12-sided black and white dice respectively. Also, each dice consists of a unique combination of symbols that produce a wide range of results. After defeating a monster, players can roll the Treasure Dice set to determine the nature of the treasure they receive. If they roll three or more magic symbols, they can use the other two dice to determine the type of item found.
The Critical Dice set generates a combination of effects, including additional damage, special conditions, and lasting effects, like bleeding or reduced movement, when a player lands a critical hit. The inclusion of skulls on each die adds another layer of excitement. A critical hit target requires a saving throw to avoid death. And the difficulty of this throw is determined by the number of skulls rolled.
Designed to add more randomness and excitement to RPG sessions, the Treasure & Critical Dice sets are made of durable plastic and come with a cloth bag for easy storage and transport. A PDF sheet with a symbols key is also available for download in several languages.
Backers can pledge for either the Treasure Dice, Critical Dice, or both. The sets are available for a limited time only. Furthermore, shipping is set to begin in November-December 2023 or as soon as they are available.
